- The modifying cost effect immediately triggers right after you draw the fourth card since you equip Runed Mithril Rod instead of after the whole drawing effect resolves.
- This case is excluded to Casts When Drawn spells, which count towards Runed Mithril Rod's draw count, but the effect only triggers after the spell finishes resolving and draws a replacement card.
